Our last full day in Cape Town: we had breakfast at The Importers Coffee Bar (see their Facebook page) in Newlands (excellent freshly squeezed orange juice, muesli yogurt honey crunch and top class coffee for (as they say in France) trois fois rien.
We then took an Uber taxi to Kirstenbosch (see bird blog),
an open top bus around the coast via Constantia, Hout Bay to Camps Bay where (instead of jumping back on the bus) we enjoyed an excellent leisurely lunch.

Then another Uber back to SACS.
The road from Kirstenbosch to Hout Bay goes through a beautiful wooded glen

In the early evening we went to see Gregory make his debut debate for his school against Herschel, a top girls school (http://www.herschel.org.za). Gregory’s team had to make the proposal of making graffiti legal so it was not surprising that they lost the debate but it was a superb debate and Gregory was outstanding.
We certainly made the most of our last full day – fantastic.
