Day 4 – Monday 15th May 2017

In the morning we visited Portree, the main town on the Isle of Skye.

It was a dull morning and there wasn’t a lot going on and so we headed out on the road towards The Old Man of Storr on the Trotterinish peninsula. We stopped for coffee at an Arts Centre but they had had their water cut off that morning and so we missed out until we reached Ellishadder Art Café where we had a snack for lunch.

We enjoyed the trip up through the Quirang and down in to Uig but there was not much opportunity for photos of nature or landscapes due to the poor weather and anyway we had spent a good amount of time here on our last trip.

On the way back home we enjoyed meeting Yasmin at the Hebridean Isles Trading Company / Island at the Edge (see Facebook page) and wished we had spent longer here.

That evening we had some very dramatic views from our room of Loch Bay as the sun set.
