This morning we had a welcome break from the sunshine with some grey misty weather which meant we could have a pleasant walk to Clifton without getting too hot and bothered. I did even see someone with an umbrella up whilst we were having a coffee but I don’t think that amount of drizzle will have done much for Cape Town’s water shortage.

By lunch time it was back to normal service although it didn’t last and Cape Town had some very welcome rain.
